PURPOSE:To make the size of a VTR video recording system small and to save power, by separating a recording and reproduction section with each other and eliminating a color signal processing from the recording section. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric conversion output S30 is induced from a target 30A of a image pickup tube 30 according to the scanning of a driving circuit 32. This signal S30 is given to a recording amplifier 38 via an LPF34, and an FM modulator 36 and applied to the primary coil of a rotary transformer 50 in a rotary head mechanism 48 via the 1st contact of a recording/reproduction changeover switch 40 as a prescribed amplitude of recording current S38. The signal S30 is converted into a recording current S46 of a prescribed amplitude via a BPF44 and a recording amplifier 46 and applied to the primary coil of a rotary transformer 52. The secondary coil output of the transformer 50 and 52 is conncted to video head 56 and 58, which trace the magnetic substance surface of a tape 66 with an angle through the rotation of the cylinder 54 and record luminance and color signal components on separate tracks in parallel. |
