PURPOSE:To obtain a flat, compact, and light weight motor having good efficiency in the rotary shaft direction by a method wherein the coil of a fixed armature provided in a rotor is annularly wound around a center shaft and a predetermined projection section is provided at the tip section of the core of the fixed armature. CONSTITUTION:A coil 18 wound on a bobbin 15 and a fixed armature 14 having two cores 16 covering the coil 18 from both sides and bent the tip to the inside are provided at the inside of a rotor 10 having a permanent magnet ring and an arc-shaped projection section 20 for preventing dead center at starting and extending in the reverse direction against the rotary direction of the rotor 10 is unitedly provided at the bent section of the tip of the core 16. A current energizing the rotation of the rotor 10 is flowed to a starting coil 28 from an AC power source 32 at the time of starting by a commutator means consisting of sliding pieces provided at a sliding ring 22 and brushes 26a, 26b and the AC power source 32 is directly connected to the starting coil 28 and an additional coil 30 by applying thrust movement to the sliding ring 22 around synchronous rotation and a motor is operated as a synchronous motor. |
