The invention relates to an apparatus for regulating the throughflow quantity of a flexible tube (18), in particular for transfusion or infusion equipment, composed of a housing (1) which is open at both ends, is in the form of a casing and has a base (5) on which the tube (18) lies, and of a wheel (16) which is longitudinally displaceably guided above the tube (18) in grooves (8, 9) of the parallel side walls (6, 7) of the housing (1). Said apparatus is characterised in that the wheel (16) is surrounded by a closed ring (17) which can move freely and eccentrically on the wheel (16) and parts of which project beyond the upper side of the housing (1). In this manner, a transmission is obtained which results in pre-relaxation of the flexible tube (18) and consequently the setting of a constant throughflow quantity in different periods of time. Owing to the large rolling radius and lever arm, only small forces are required for setting, with the result that a sensitive and accurate regulation of the throughflow quantity is possible. <IMAGE>
