Air-cooled internal-combustion engine with in-line or V-configuration cylinders which are supplied with cooling air by a cooling-air fan from a cooling-air collecting space, openings for the passage of cooling air being provided in the bonnet which delimits the cooling-air collecting space towards the outside, assigned to which openings are air baffles projecting towards the cooling-air collecting space, and an air filter, which is connected via conduits to the intake pipe of the internal-combustion engine, being arranged on that side of the bonnet which is remote from the cooling-air collecting space.
