Process for obtaining interferon- alpha and interferon- gamma

A process is described for obtaining interferon- alpha and interferon- gamma from peripheral blood leucocytes, as are appropriate stimuli by means of which both interferon- alpha and interferon- gamma are obtained from one and the same peripheral blood leucocyte (PBL), with the cells producing interferon- alpha and interferon- gamma being separated off by centrifugation in a suitable density gradient medium and then cultivated separately.
