Opener-closer

Probably the most well-known opener-closer for gases or fluids is the valve. Essentially, valves open or close only one inlet opening. The object of the invention is to open or close simultaneously a plurality of inlet openings which are located spatially together in a housing, by means of one closing body with one drive set. Figure 1 shows one solution. An elastically deformable closing body (11) closes the inlet openings in the housing (9) when air, for example, is forced through the holes in the closing cylinder (10). If the air pressure in the closing cylinder is taken away, the closing body (11) deforms back in such a manner that it rests on the closing cylinder (10). Figure 2 shows a second solution. An elastically deformable seal (14) is located in a housing (15) having inlet openings. The inlet openings are closed or opened by means of the conical part of the insert (13) when the latter is suitably displaced from the exterior by a drive set. <IMAGE>
