The invention relates to a core and mask shooting machine having a machine column, a mould carrier, a shooting device and a removal device and is characterised in that the mould carrier is equipped with a double mould receiver pivotable about a horizontal axis and a shooting device interacting with the said receiver, comprising two mutually connected shot tanks and pivotable about a vertical axis. The machine according to the invention offers considerable advantages over known devices of this kind since a very rapid and efficient mould change and the associated resetting of the shooting device is possible without the need for a prolonged stoppage of the machine system. <IMAGE>
