The invention relates to a mine car mover for inserting rail-borne mine cars into drawing cages as well as for unbanking rail-borne mine cars from drawing cages in shafts and blind shafts of underground mining operations. In fundamental construction, the mine car mover includes a chain drive arranged laterally in a roadway and a slide which is arranged on the chain drive and can be moved in a reciprocating manner. The slide carries a driver arm which projects up to an allocated track and has a coupling device. The driver arm can be swung in and out. The coupling device has an actuator operated by pressure medium. A pressure-medium accumulator which can be moved with the slide is allocated to this actuator. The pressure-medium accumulator is attached to a loading device, by means of which the pressure-medium accumulator can be filled. The loading device is driven indirectly or directly by the chain drive. The actuator itself can be controlled by means of a control device arranged behind or in front of the chain drive on the side remote from the track. <IMAGE>
