The invention relates to a motor vehicle which can be moved in all directions in a directionally stable fashion with two front running assemblies and two rear running assemblies arranged on each side of the longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle. These running assemblies are located in pairs opposite one another and are driven and can be controlled individually and independently of one another. Each running assembly has a number of floor contact elements distributed over its circumference, the axes of which elements extend obliquely with respect to the longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle. The axes of the floor contact elements of the two front running assemblies intersect behind their floor contact area and the axes of the floor contact elements of the two rear running assembles intersect behind their floor contact area along the longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle or vice versa. The running assemblies are track assemblies with tracks guided over two deflection wheels. The tracks are composed of a number of track plates with joint axes parallel to the axis of the deflection wheels.
