PURPOSE:To perform accurate temporary stop, by providing a register storing the sequence number of a program controlling a machine tool and a register presetting a sequence number stopping the job, and comparing both. CONSTITUTION:A progrm to control a job of a machine tool is stored in a controlling register 10 together with a sequence number. The sequence number for a job to be stopped temporarily is preset to a stopping register 12 from an internal input device 14 or an external terminal 16. Both registers 10 and 12 are synchronizingly read out at a comparator 20 and when the contents are coincident, an output is given and inputted to one input of an AND circuit 22. When an end signal EOB of a job block is inputted to another terminal of the AND circuit 22, the AND circuit 22 gives an output to generate 24 a cycle stop signal and to output 26 it. Thus, the accurate temporary stop can be performed simply. |
