PURPOSE:To provide a compact transformer, by a method wherein a high-voltage winding is divided by a specified multiple, and two lines of the divided windings in which an inner winding and an outer winding are series-connected alternately are parallel-connected, so that the insulation distance between a leaf winding and a core is shortened. CONSTITUTION:A high-voltage winding 7 is divided into n pieces, and the divided two windings that are in the central portion among the divided windings are connected to a line end lead wire 9 at their side portions where the two windings face each other. Then, the outer peripheral portion 8-6 of the winding 7-4 in the outmost position and the inner portion of the winding in the innermost position are connected to a neutral point lead wire 8. Two winding groups consisting of windings that are positioned inside and outside of the line end lead wire 9 and series-connected alternately across the line end lead wire 9 are parallel-connected. In this method, the insulation class of the neutral point electrical potential can be minimized, so that the insulation distance between the outmost portion of the high-voltage winding and the edgewise leg 2b of the core 2 is greatly shortened. In addition, the insulation distance between the high-voltage winding 7 and a tank 1 can also be shortened. |
