<p>The hook, for securing a sail to a stay, has a first part fixed to the sail and a second part fitting detachably round the stay. The hook can be secured and released with one hand. The part fixed to the sail (3) has a hooked portion (10) protruding from the rope, with a side opening (11) for insertion of the stay. This opening is shut by a hinging hook (13) so arranged that it is difficult to open by a force from inside the hooked portion.</p> |
