In a device for containing ammunition in belt form for feeding to a weapon of high firing rate, a container comprises adjacent sectors 11, separated by walls 12, in which the belt 15 is laid in a festoon arrangement, the container being driven at 14 so as to move the various sectors successively into a position corresponding with the zones of withdrawal of the belt for its feeding to the weapon.
