PURPOSE:To minimize the strains in drum-like members during welding by turning said members at the angle mulipled by integers from a min. indexing angle after positioning the members 3 times at 120 deg. intervals in the same rotating direction, giving said integer values variably by the total quantity of welding, and welding the members at the respective positioned points. CONSTITUTION:In the case of welding the outside circumference of drum-like members, the drum-like members are positioned three times at 120 deg. intervals in the same rotating direction, that is, the directions A to B to C, and welding is applied thereto at the points A, B, C. The angle indexing of the next 4th member to be welded is made integer n times the min. indexing angle theta deg., namely, said member is welded at the point theta deg.Xn (point D). For the 5th and 6th positioning, the members are indexed at 120 deg. angle and are subjected to repeated indexing of 120 deg., 120 deg., 120 deg.+theta deg.Xn, 120 deg., 120 deg...., whereby the members are indexed 360 deg./N times over the entire circumference. N denotes the quantity of the members to be welded. |
