PURPOSE:To perform extrusion forming and patterning simultaneously, in extrusion forming Al material, by projecting a part of floating die for forming hollow part provided to the inside of a forming die and installing a patterning roll above, below or near the projected part. CONSTITUTION:Molten Al material is put in a cylinder 1 provided with a floating die 3 for forming hollow part at the inside and pressed by an extruding piston 4, and a hollow square metallic bar 6 is extruded by a forming die 2. In this case, a proper length of the front part of the floating die 3 is projected from the die 2 to form a projection 3' unified with the floating die 3. A patterning roll 5 having patterned peripheral face is provided above, below or one side of the projection. Patterning is made simultaneously by this patterning roll 5 on the surface of the hollow square bar 6 extracted continuously from the die 2. |
