PURPOSE:To press stick cross bars linearly to main bars without bending the bars by studding specific guiding pins on the bottom surface of the upper electrode of a device which produces a titled grating to be used in work shops where fats and oils are handled by melt sticking the cross bars to the main bars under pressure. CONSTITUTION:Many long-sized main bars 4 provided with ruggedness on top surfaces juxtaposed at specified intervals to a prescribed width on a lower electrode plate 22 by means of jigs and the tops thereof are made flush. Cross bars 3 are placed on the projecting parts of the bars 4 orthogonally so as to be located between two rows of guiding pins 23, 23' mounted to an upper electrode plate 21. Then the plate 21 is moved downward by a cylinder 11 to press the bars 3 lightly to the bars 4. At this time, the pins 23, 23' descend by sandwiching both sides of the bars 3 and fit into the spaces between the bars 4 by facing each other. If electricity is conducted to the plates 21, 22 in this state, the parts where the main bars and the cross bars contact are heated to a high temp. close to melting by resistance heat. The plate 21 is moved further downward to press the cross bars strongly to the main bars. In this time the pins 23, 23' prevent the flow of the softened cross bars from the projecting parts of the main bars into the recessing parts. |
