PURPOSE:To enable to keep the temperature of water supplied from a hot-water supplying apparatus always at a constant level independently of the flow rate of water used, by employing such an arrangement that the secondary gas pressure of a governor is associated with the pressure difference on the opposite sides of an orifice in a water pipe. CONSTITUTION:With a gas stop valve 14 opened, gas pressure pgl at the outlet of a governor 15 is kept constant independently of the gas pressure PgO at the inlet of the governor 15. By supplying gas fuel from a pilot gas supply pipe 7, pilot flame 10 is produced by an ignitor. Subsequently, when a water tap 1 is opened, pressures Pw1, Pw2 on the opposite sides of an orifice 3 in a water pipe are acted respectively to diaphragms 20, 21 in a primary pressure chamber 40 and a secondary pressure chamber 41, so that a control valve 22 is raised upward by the function of the differential pressure Pw1-Pw2. Resultantly, gas is supplied to a burner 19 via a gas supply pipe 8 and combustion by main flame 11 is started. By employing such an arrangement that the secondary gas pressure of the governor 15 is associated with the differential pressure of water on the opposite sides of the orifice in a water pipe, it is enabled to keep the temperature of hot water to be supplied always constant independently of the flow rate of water used. |
