<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to readily process a wide variety of pictures by converting the frame displayed spirally into an X-Y rectangular coordinate display frame. CONSTITUTION:The reflected wave received by the sonar transmission/reception unit 1 is stored in memory circuits 51-54 via a dynamicizing circuit 3 and an A/D converter 4. After the detection signal for each direction has been stored, the memory content is read out according to the polar coordinate addressing circuit 10 and stored in memory circuits 111-114. The position designation of the memory circuits 111-114 is performed by the X-Y coordinate addressing circuit 12. The signals read out of the memory circuits 111-114 are added via a D/A converter 16 to the cathode-ray tube display device 17.</p> |
