PURPOSE:To make a postal balance easier to operate by permitting displaying of charges of the postal matter which is handled frequently without assigning the contents of said postal pattern with keys with respect to such postal matter. CONSTITUTION:Assigning keys 11a-d for contents of domestic ordinary posts, assigning keys 11e-h for zone of domestic parcel posts and assigning keys 11i- l for contents of airmail are provided in an operating part 11. Maps showing the segments of mailing zones in respective areas are shown on said part 11. When there is no assigment for the contents of posts by assigning keys which assign various contents of posts such as ordinary fixed size posts, ordinary non- fixed size posts, parcel posts, or the like, charges are calculated by the contents of posts which are beforehand determined by weighing. For example, if the fixed size postal matter and non-fixed size postal matter in ordinary postal matter are those which are handled frequently, the charges for such postal matter are automatically calculated are displayed without assigning the postal matter; therefore the operations are extremely easy and the treating efficiency of the postal matter is improved. |
