发明名称 SOLID ELECTROLYTE CELL AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a solid electrolyte cell with improved voltage characteristics by pressing an anode and a cathode together with an ionic complex of alkyl pyridinium iodine (n) and iodine placed between them so as to generate an electrolyte layer by a partial discharge. CONSTITUTION:Active material powders selected among carbon fluoride expressed as (CF)n, TiS2, MnO2, V2O5, MoO3, and WO3 are compressed and molded to produce an anode 1. Next, an ionic complex of alkyl pyridinium iodide (n) expressed as equation II[(n) is a natural number of 4-6 and R is a straight chain alkyl of C3 and above.]and iodine is thinly coated on one face of the anode 1. This complex is a liquid and is absorbed into both faces of the anode 1 coated. Next, a Li cathode 2 is put into contact with the coated face of the anode 1, then the anode and cathode are pressed together and are inserted into a cell case 4 and are sealed. After sealing, the cell is allowed to perform a partial discharge at a constant current, thus generating an electrolyte layer 3 expressed as equationI[(n), R are the same as mentioned above.]on the boundary surface between the anode and cathode.
