PURPOSE:To perform high efficient transmission, by operating a rod in linearly reciprocating motion, providing racks in both sides of the rod, meshing gears to the racks and coupling said gears to a load mechanism through one-way clutches and flywheel. CONSTITUTION:Racks 2 are provided at a face-to-face position in both sides of a sliding rod 1, linearly performed with reciprocating motion, and driving gears 3 of transmission shafts 4 are meshed to these racks 2. Interlocking gears 6 are respectively provided to the transmission shafts 4 through cam clutches 5, for transmitting one-way rotary motion, and the interlocking gears 6 are meshed to an intermediate gear 7, intermediately provided in said interlocking gears, then a rotary shaft 8 of the intermediate gear 7 is coupled to a speed increasing mechanism 9. A flywheel 11 is mounted to an output shaft 10 of the speed increasing mechanism 9, and connected to a load mechanism 13 like a generator through a coupling 12. |
