<p>PURPOSE:To make common pins usable between the input and output sides of a photocoupler while reducing the total number of terminals and miniaturizing the configuration thereof by a method wherein input and output pins of multiple pairs of photocouplers are arranged in inverse parallel with one another on one side of a package. CONSTITUTION:A light-emitting diode element 10a is bonded onto a frame 2' of a pin 2 and connected to another frame 1' of pin 1 by a bonding wire 12. A phototransistor 11a opposing to the light emitting diode 10a is bonded onto another frame 6' of a pin 6 and connected to the other frame 5' of pin 5 by another bonding wire 13. Furthermore, another phototransistor 11b is bonded onto a frame 3' of a pin 3 and connected to the frame 2' of a pin 2. Another light-emitting diode 10b opposing to the phototransistor 11b is bonded onto a frame 5' of a pin 5 and connected to a frame 4' of a pin 4 by a bonding wire 15. Through these procedures, the numbers of outer terminals can be reduced to miniaturize the configuration thereof.</p> |
