TELESCOPIC WINDOW GUARD

A window guard device includes a pair of telescopically interconnected frame members for defining a fence across a window opening. Each frame member is defined by a plurality of longitudinally extending, parallel, spaced apart bars, which are interconnected at their ends by end plates; the end plates at one end of each frame including holes for slidably receiving the bars of the other frame, so that the length of the guard device can be adapted to the side of the window opening. The outer end of each frame is connected to the side of the window frame.
