PURPOSE:To adjust the set load of a coiled spring by the movement of a movable piston by connecting a hydraulic cylinder which is fit under the coiled spring to an oil tank provided with the movable piston by means of an oil tube. CONSTITUTION:When an adjusting rod 9 is turned, a movable piston 8 is reciprocated up and down to vary the capacity of an oil tank 7. The variation of the capacity of the oil tank 7 is associated with the variation of the capacity of a hydraulic cylinder 6 by an oil tube 11. The length of the coiled spring 3 which is stopped to the end face of a spring seat member 5 of the hydraulic cylinder 6 may be adjusted. |
