PURPOSE:To improve agitation efficiency by arranging and disposing plural bottom blown tuyeres in eccentric positions spacially from the diametral line of the furnace bottom, and forming many fire points in an area of a top blowing lance contg. no tuyeres. CONSTITUTION:Plural tuyeres 3 which are spaced in a row and open on a furnace bottom 2 are disposed in the from of an array in the eccentric positions spart from the diametral line of the bottom 2. A top blowing lance 4 having a multiholed nozzle is inserted by determining the direction of the nozzle so as to form many fire points in an area which is bisected by a straight line parallel with the tuyeres 3 arrayed in a row where the lance 4 is not contained. The ratio between the spacing l of the array of the tuyeres 3 from the diametral line D of the bottom 3 and the diameter D of the furnace bottom, that is, l/D is set at 0.01-0.15, and the ratio between the width L in the area where the bottom blowing tuyere array is arranged and the diameter D, that is L/D is set at 0.1-0.8. |
