Electrodes are surrounded by flexible soft sealing rings, flexible hand sealing rings and rigid pressure rings, one above the other. The sealing rings are bounded by the electrodes, electrode carriers and pressure rings. Two pressure bars are displaceably arranged on the pressure rings of one set of electrodes. Pref., one bar presses on the pressure rings of two adjacent sets.
