PURPOSE:To prevent a device from increasing in size on the whole, by manufacturing a photoelectric conversion part and a filter circuit part on one element. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric conversion part 10 reads plural lines at a time and performs photoelectric conversion. The output of the conversion part is processed through the convolution integral arithmetic of a filter circuit part 50, and an output signal OS is generated. The solid-state image pickup element has sufficient dead space, which is utilized to add the circuit part 50. Therefore, it is unnecessary to increase the size of the element itself. Further, it is unnecessry to store photoelectrically converted information, an RAM an A/D converter, a D/A converter, etc., are unnecessary and the number of parts is less, obtaining advantage in manufacture cost. |
