PURPOSE:To eliminate the speed change shock by detecting the transmission torque of a fluid coupling interposed between an engine and an automatic transmission and determining the fastening hydraulic pressure on the basis of the transmission torque. CONSTITUTION:A working hydraulic pressure supplied into a frictional engaging element C is determined according to the drive of an actuator (f) through an aimed hydraulic pressure determining means (h) and a control means (i) on the basis of the transmission torque of a fluid coupling (b) which is detected by a transmission torque detecting means (g). Therefore, the working hydraulic pressure is determined with the transmission torque of the fluid coupling (b) which is actually input into an automatic transmission (d) as parameter. Therefore, the hydraulic pressure tuning for a hydraulic control device can be performed decisively without being influenced by the intake negative pressure, and speed change shock can be eliminated. |
