摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To form orientation film s which are uniform and have high dimensional accuracy with good productivity by printing ink for orientation films having a specific low viscosity on an electrode substrate by using a letterpress plate of a prescribed pattern shape having a cushion layer and thermosetting the ink. CONSTITUTION:A polyamic acid soln. is diluted (<=100 cp viscosity) with a solvent mixture consisting of N-methyl-2-pyrolidone and an org. solvent having a b. p. lower than that thereof (e.g.; benzyl alcohol) and the resultant soln. is used as printing ink for orientation films. More specifically, a solid body 9 provided with a letterpress material 10 of a prescribed shape consisting of a cushion layer 15, a stable foil (e.g.; sheet of polyethylene terephthalate) 14, and a relief layer (printingsurface) 13 is used, and the above-mentioned printing ink 8 for orientation films coated uniformly on a coating plate 7 is stuck on the material 10 and after the ink 11 stuck thereon is transferred to an object to be printed (electrode substrate) 12, the transferred ink is heat treated, whereby the orientation film consisting of polyimide is formed.</p>
