The device includes a housing having a viewing port and primary and secondary image generation chamber. The primary chamber is divided into a number of cells, each of which contains an image source such as a portion of a video display tube surface. A number of light transmissive two-way mirrors are disposed between the cells and the viewing port. The mirrors may be arranged to increase the perceived depth of field beyond the confines of the image source itself. The mirrors may be selectively movable relative to each other to provide the illusion of movement of a fixed image source Variations in light intensity of the different images reaching the viewing port may be adjusted or equalised. The secondary image creation chamber contains fixed or movable shelves of varying widths. |
