PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption and hence obtain lower cost by reducing brightness of a stop lamp and a turn signal lamp, when the tail lamp is turned on, from the brightness in daytime and using one lamp for both the stop lamp and tail lamp. CONSTITUTION:A turn signal lamp Tr/L and a lamp ST, T/L designed to serve for both the stop lamp and tail lamp, are installed and a combination lamp lighting circuit is provided. When a switch T/L-SW is turned off, the combination lamp lighting circuit lights the turn signal lamp Tr/L by 100% brightness by turning on the switch Tr/L-SW, while the circuit lights the lamp Tr/L to less 100% brightness by turning on the switch Tr/L-SW, when the switch T/L-SW is turned on. Furthermore, the combination lamp lighting circuit is so designed to comprise semiconductor switches SW1-SW5, adiode combination circuit 1, and a saw-tooth wave generation circuit, etc., that the lamp ST, T/L is lit as a tail lamp by a certain degree of brightness slightly darker than that below 100% when a switch ST/L-SW, turned off. |
