PURPOSE:To prevent a head lamp from turning on frequently when a car is running slowly in the case of a car with a means that automatically locks its brake at its stoppage time and that turns off its head lamp at the stoppage time, by providing a self-holding relay or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a car is stopped by stepping on a brake pedal during its traveling, a switch 15 is closed, the output point (d) of a timer 29 is set to Level H after a preset time (approximately 1.5sec), a transistor Q6 is turned on, a relay K2 is actuated and self-held by its own contact k3. As a result, a relay K5 is excited through the contact k3' and a head lamp 35 is turned off. Besides, when a relay K1 is actuated and the brake is held, the relay K3 is excited through the contact K2' of the relay K2 simultaneously and the contact K3 is switched and self-held. In this state, excitation current is applied to the relay K5 independently of the brake operation and the head lamp 35 is turned off continuously. |
