<p>PURPOSE:To produce the high molecular piezo-electric conductor provided with highly efficient thickness piezo-electric property. CONSTITUTION:The thickness piezo-electric property of the copolymer P (VDF- TrEE) composed of vinylindene fluoride (VDE) and trifluoroethylene (TrFE) is based on the findings that said property is under the remarkable influence of the composition ratio of VDF and TrFE as well as the production processes, heat treatment before pauling and the resultant minute composition (morphology) of the solid while the essence of said property is characterized by pauling the molding after the heat treatment of P (VDF-TrFE) formed by means of coating solution or casting at the approximate temperature between the crystalline phase transition point Tm' and the melting point (Tm) or pauling said molding P at the approximate temperature between Tm' and Tm. In this case, the Tm' is represented by the peak temperature absorbing heat at the rising temperature DSC curve of said molding normally several to scores derees lower than Tm. It is unknown yet to which phase transition the Tm' corresponds but it is evident that the phase transition is the high dielectric-constant dielectric phase transitions caused by turning around the molecular axis in parallel with the molecular chains.</p> |
