PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a picture recording system, by specifying a selective recording mode of a recording mechanism at a readout part. CONSTITUTION:A picture recording means 300 uses plural recording mechanisms for recording, and records data on a recording medium in plural recording modes. A picture recording means 100 is arranged separately from the means 300, and the means 100 and 300 are coupled together by a signal transmitting means 700. The means 100 selects a recording mechanism and a recording mode of the means 300 through the means 700. The means 700 uses an optical communication means to speed up communication and also to reproduce a picture signal securely. |
