PURPOSE:To stabilize fuel feed to the offset of fuel at the time of vehicle's turning, etc. in such a way that in a structure which provides a suction tube in a turning reservoir installed in the tank, an auxiliary reservoir is installed between the tank longitudinal wall and said tube, and said reservoir is communicated to the turning reservoir. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary reservoir 10 is installed between the longitudinal wall 4 on the right side of the turning reservoir 3 which is installed in a fuel tank 1. This auxiliary reservoir 10 is formed into an L-letter shape in its section which is high at the longitudinal wall 11 on the left side, and low at the longitudinal wall 12 on the right side, and a void S is provided and arranged between the bottom wall 13 of the auxiliary reservoir 10 and the bottom wall 14 of the turning reservoir 3. Besides, at the position on said tube side 7 on the bottom wall 13, for example a communicating hole 15 is made for setting fuel passage rate which is practically the same as the fuel consuming rate in the engine. And at the time of turning the vehicle, at the same time as fuel 5 in the turning reservoir 3 is imbibed out of a suction port 8 of the tube 7, fuel 5 in the auxiliary reservoir 10 is flowed through the communicating hole 15 into the turning reservoir 3, both of which are replenished for preventing fuel shortage. |
