PURPOSE:To suppress the action of enzymes by the instantaneous grinding of the oil stuff seeds simultaneously to the heating of the seeds at high temperature, and to obtain ground seed free from ill odor, by placing a grinding chamber having a grinding member rotating horizontally at a high speed at the lower part of a steaming chamber furnished with the inlet of the oil stuff seeds. CONSTITUTION:Oil stuff seeds G such as husked soybeans, etc. are fed continuously through the feeding chute 8 to the steaming chamber 1, and fallen in the chamber 1 together with hot water supplied through the hot water inlet 10. team is introduced into the steaming chamber 1 through the steam inlet 7, and the seeds G and air accompanied ith the hot water is discharged through the inlet of the chute 8 by the ressure of the introduced steam whereby the steam chamber 1 is kept to a nearly oxygen-free state. The seeds G are pressed together with the steam and the hot water into the gap between the rotary grinding member 19 and the stationary grinding member 18 in the grinding chamber 2, ground at a high temperature, and discharged through the outlet 24. |
