Thread storage drum as claimed in DT 1900619 is modified to improve the braking effect of the braking ring by imparting to the fingers which start from a base ring above the brake ring such a curvature that their intermediate portions are disposed within a cylinder whose dia corresponds to the dia of the storage drum. |
