PURPOSE:To obtain a reproducing element which has high reliability and high fidelity by making tracking compensation and jitter compensation through each independent magnet. CONSTITUTION:A magnet 19 for tracking compensation is magnetized at right angles to a cantilever, but a magnet 27 for jitter compensation is magnetized in a shaft direction. Thus, one-point supporting is down in the tracking direction and its compensation is made by only the magnet and a coil; and a driving system independent of the tracking is employed in the jitter direction and its compensation is made by only the magnet and a coil.
