PURPOSE:To achieve an analog display and a digital display separated at a space to ensure clear reading thereof without disturbing each other by arranging a plurality of analog display sections and digital display sections so as to vary the selection of display sections to be driven for indication thereamong with the passage of time. CONSTITUTION:Along with an analog display section AT, a digital display section DS is provided for second indication and digital display sections KHI and DDI for minute indication. These picture elements from a first display layer. A second display layer is provided with an analog time display section AP, digital display sections DU2 and DD2 for indicating hour digits, a digital display section DC12 for indicating hour and minute and a digital display section DSC for second indication. The digital display sections DU2, DU1 and DS are combined to perform one time indication of hour, minute or second. The digital display sections DU2 and DU1 are provided on separate display layers but so arranged in a row as not to overlap. |
