PURPOSE:To properly control printing operation according to the types of various words and letters without increasing the number of parts by using a system in which print control data input from outside prior to the printing operation are stored in a memory. CONSTITUTION:Prior to printing operation, desired kind or type of words or letters are selected according to a type wheel 8 attached to a selection key 24, and then a transfer key 17 is pushed down, whereupon a print control signal D is output toward a printer 16 side by a key board control circuit 21. By the control circuit 22, the print control data signal D is orderly written in the memory corresponding to the letter code of the type element 10 in the memory 23 and then switched to printing mode. After the operation, when the letter key 18 on the key board 19 is pushed down, the letter code of the letter key 18 is output to the control circuit 22 by the key board control circuit 21, and printing is made by the control circuit 22. |
