PURPOSE:To prevent sink marks and internal cracks from being generated, by a method wherein a joint part of FRP layers which cover the upper and lower surfaces of a core member consisting of a foamed body is provided with a fin part projecting in the extending direction of the FRP layers. CONSTITUTION:The core member 21 is covered by the FRP layers 11a, 11b which are joined to each other to form an FRP layer 11c. The joint part 15 is provided with the fin part 22 projecting in the extending direction of the FRP layer 11c. Since preforms 2a, 12b of reinforcing fibers contained in the FRP layers 11a, 11b are placed along the configuration of the fin part 22, any part rich in the resin is not produced at the fin part 22. Accordingly, sink marks and internal cracks are not generated, and an FRP molded article excellent in appearance and strength can be obtained. |
