PURPOSE:To realize a long-life watch with a accuracy of a high frequency oscillation circuit with a less current consumption by controlling a variable division means of a frequency division circuit for output signals of a low frequency oscillation circuit by detecting the phase of oscillation signals in the high frequency oscillation circuit and the low frequency oscillation circuit with a phase comparator circuit. CONSTITUTION:A phase comparator circuit 3 is fed with a high frequency signal fH and a front/rear division signal f53 and outputs a phase signal f3. A phase division circuit 4 comprising 12 division stages for inputting the phase signal f3 outputs an interrupt signal f4. Numeral 5 indicates a division circuit which comprises 3 division stages for inputting a low frequency oscillation signal fL and outputs a time counting 1 second signal f5 as time counting unit signal from a rear stage division circuit 55. The time counting 1 second signal f5 gives a signal divided in the high oscillation frequency fH in terms of the average frequency. It suffices that the low oscillation frequency fL is negative in the phase relationship with the high oscillation frequency fH. This provides a time counting unit signal with an accuracy controlled by the high frequency oscillation circuit over a temperature range meeting the requirement. |
