TRANSPARENT TYPE DATA INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a transparent type data input device for a small-sized and general-purpose computer and to remove the feeling visual disorder by arranging a touch key part only on a position opposite to the peripheral part on a display surface of a CRT display device. CONSTITUTION:A transparent conductive film 44 is formed on the peripheral part of an insulating sheet 42 so as to be divided into plural sections in the peripheral direction and each section constitutes an individual electrode of each touch key. A transparent conductive film 43 is formed uniformly on an insulating sheet 41 and constitutes a common electrode for touch keys. A spacer 45 is a rectangle slightly smaller than the insulating sheets 41, 42 and the films 43 and 44 are brought into contact with each other at a depressed position on the external part of the spacer 45. The touch key part of which individual electrodes consist of the divided film 44 is formed only a position opposite to the peripheral part of a display surface. These films 43, 44 are connected to a matrix decoder or the like and the positional information of a touch key turned on by depression is encoded and inputted to a computer body 1.
