PURPOSE:To easily detect bugs or errors and save paper and labor by supressing only printing operation without setting of paper to perform false printing and starting a new line by on-line operation. CONSTITUTION:In case of normal printing after setting paper, a microprocessor (muPC) 2 analizes a command from a host device 1, outputs a necessary command to a logical operation circuit 3 and actuates a driving part 5 through a driver sensor circuit 4 to perform printing and starting a new line. At the generation of an error in the mechanical part 5, information is applied from the mechanical part 5 to the circuit 4 to analize it. Error suppressing status is previously recorded in a muPC 2 by actuating an error suppressing means 6 through the grounding of a connector pin or the like to deal with error generation at the time of no setting of paper. At that time, printing and starting a new line are made possible by suppressing with muPC only the errors to be absolutely suppressed out of errors generated in the mechanical part 5. Consequently troubles generated in the printing device at the time of no-line operation can be searched without setting of paper, saving printing paper. |
