PURPOSE:To improve the run stablility of a magnetic tape by arranging a lubricant sheet, which has a coating layer containing talc and SiO2 on a surface of a plastic film, between the case of a tape cassette and the magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:On at least one surface of a plastic film, a lubricant sheet is formed by applying and drying a coating liquid obtained by adding about 5- 80wt% based upon a binder to talc of about 0.5-5mum mean grain size and SnO2 of about 1-5mum having an about 0.1-1.0 talc/binder ratio while vinyl chloride- vinyl acetate copolymers, polyurethane resin, etc., are used as the binder. Consequently, superior antistatic properties and superior lubricity are obtained, noises and impedance to tape drive are prevented, and the flexible tape cassette is manufactured at low cost. |
