PURPOSE:To prevent generation of inferiority and decrease of workability, by providing supply rolls between a roll-wound belt-shaped member of long scale paper and the like and feed rolls, generating an advance notice signal of ending the roll-wound belt-shaped member and selectively changing the driving of the supply rolls to a free roll speed and not less than a feed roll speed. CONSTITUTION:At steady state operation when a large quantity of roll-wound belt-shaped members 13 are supported to an arm 12 and used, an advance notice signal is not output from a member run-out advance notcie means 69, and a clutch 68 is not operated with supply rolls 33 in a freely rotating state, then feed rolls 34 are speed controlled by upper and lower position setting sensors 66, 67 and the member is fed out. When a member 21 is approximated to an end, a sensor 70 outputs a detection signal, and the advance notice means 69 inputs an advance notice signal to the clutch 68, then the supply rolls 33 are driven at a higher speed than the feed rolls 34. Accordingly, a belt-shaped member 21A is stored in a storage tank 71, during the time of connecting a new roll, the stored member is fed out. In this way, a change of tension at adding time can be prevented to avoid deflection and improve workability. |
