Rolling cylinder in steel rolling mill - has location spindle with inclined grooves for spherical torque transmission elements

Rolling mill is provided with a rolling cylinder which includes a location spindle. The spindle has a cylindrical sleeve whose internal step is used for the location of bearing balls. A stub shaft has a coaxial location inside the location spindle sleeve. A flange nut, located on a shaft collar produces axial location of the bearing balls against the sleeve shoulder. Axially inclined grooves for the bearing balls on the stub shaft, used for the transmission of torque between shaft and sleeve provide cylinder adjustment.
