PURPOSE:To obtain a red part latent image and a black part latent image which have polarities opposite to each other, by putting a screen, where a charged image of a black original part is formed, on a charged image of a red-and-black original, and irradiating the screen with ions having the opposite polarity. CONSTITUTION:The image of an original 5 having a red part R and a black part B is exposed to a uniformly charged photoreceptor 2 through a cyan-color screen 6 to obtain a positive latent image. The image of the original 5 is exposed to a uniformly charged photosensitive screen 7 through a red screen 9 to leave the electric charge only in a part corresponding to the black part B. The screen 7 is put on the photoreceptor 2 and is irradiated with an electron current. Thus, electrons pass through the screen 7 only in the black part, and a said positive latent image is cancelled to form a negative latent image. The positive latent image in the red part is left as it is. |
