<p>The method of making underground works in reinforced concrete, near existing buildings involves making, transverse to the future tunnel longitudinal axis, successive rectangular excaVations. In each of these is dropped a frame (4). Before placing the frame in position, complementary parts (5) are fixed to it on the upstream side, relative to a shoulder on the roof, to cover it. These complementary parts are placed in footings up to the shoulder, to form a joint to ensure continuity of the tunnel. Thickness is increased by a covering of concrete.</p> |
