The device for opening & closing the curtains of green-house includes a rope winding mechanism. The rope winding mechanism comprises a driving shaft(4) provided with a rope winding drum(8) at the central portion of it, a driving mechanism(6) having a belt(7) at one end of the driving shaft, and threaded members(4a, 5) for transferring axially the rope winding drum fixed to the driving shaft. When the driving shaft is rotated by the belt(7), the driving shaft is transferred in axial direction by the threaded members and then the rope with clips(9a,9b) for curtains(11,11') is wound on the drum without overlapping of the rope.
